AI intake and automation for law firms. We automate intake, documents and billing in your case management system.
For solo to mid-size firms in personal injury, family, immigration, estate planning and criminal defense.
We connect to the case management system your firm already uses, with or without an API, and do the work inside it. See what the intake calls you miss are costing.

We read from your system and write back to it: opening matters, filing documents and entering time.
- Any case management, billing or document system. There is no supported-systems list to check.
- API or not. Where there isn’t one, our tooling works through the same screens your staff use, at the same permission level.
- Cloud or on a server in the back office, new or fifteen years old.
- Every write is logged. Anything outside your rules waits for a person.
Tell us what you run on the first call, and we’ll tell you how we’d connect.
Client intake.
We answer every new-client call, run the conflict check and book the consultation, at any hour. Clio’s 2024 secret shoppers found only about 40% of firms answer the phone live, and a 1,200-call audit by an intake vendor put 34.8% of business-hours calls unanswered. What the missed ones cost. How fast firms answer a web lead, and what the first reply should do. How an AI answering service compares with a live one for law firms.
-
Agent answers every call
The voice agent works as your firm’s AI answering service. It picks up in two rings, day or night, and asks the intake questions for your practice area. It puts urgent calls straight through to a lawyer.
-
Conflict check and qualification
Before it books a consultation, the agent checks the caller against your client and matter records, and the matter against your criteria.
-
Signed and opened in your system
The agent sends the engagement letter for e-signature and writes the contact, the matter and the call notes into your case management system.
Documents and deadlines.
We draft documents from the matter file, and calculate and track every deadline.
-
Documents assembled from the matter
The agent fills engagement letters, petitions, forms and discovery responses from the matter record and sends each one to a lawyer to review.
-
Records read into a chronology
The agent reads medical records, police reports and client documents, summarizes them in date order and flags the gaps.
-
Deadlines calculated and tracked
When a matter opens, the agent sets its deadlines by your rules for that court and case type and reminds the lawyer responsible.
Time and billing.
We turn the day’s work into time entries, send invoices and follow up on unpaid ones, in any billing system. The average lawyer’s rate was $257 an hour in LawPay’s 2023 data, so one unrecorded hour a week per lawyer is about $13,000 a year.
-
Time captured from the day’s work
The agent turns emails, calls, documents and calendar entries into draft time entries with narratives, for the lawyer to approve.
-
Retainers kept topped up
The agent watches trust balances against work in progress and sends the replenishment request before a matter runs dry.
-
Invoices sent and chased
The agent raises invoices on your schedule, sends them with a payment link and follows up until they are paid. Read how to get invoices paid sooner.
How we handle your data.
-
Confidentiality first
We sign a confidentiality and data processing agreement with you before any build starts.
-
Where your files live
The agent reads and writes in your systems. It runs on our Google Cloud, or in your own Google Cloud account if you prefer. Nothing is used to train a model.
-
A lawyer reviews
A lawyer reviews anything that leaves the firm as legal work.
-
Every action logged
The agent logs every call, document, time entry and record change for you to audit.
Frequently asked questions.
- Do you work with our case management system?
- Yes. Cloud case management, a practice management suite on a server in your office, or documents in shared folders: we work in whatever holds the matter. With an API we use it. Without one, the agent works through the same screens your paralegals use, under its own login, and every filing it touches is logged.
- Can it write to the matter, or only read from it?
- Both. The agent writes to the matter only within rules you set, logs every change, and leaves anything outside those rules for your staff.
- Does the voice agent give legal advice?
- No. It takes the intake, books the consultation and answers practical questions. It passes legal questions to a lawyer and tells the caller it is doing so.
- Who is responsible for what the agent drafts?
- Your firm. A lawyer reviews every document and time entry before it is filed, sent or billed.
- How is it priced?
- Each automation is quoted as one fixed price after the first call, before anything is built. What moves it: how much of intake runs through conflict checks and qualification questions, how many document types to assemble, and whether your case management system has an API or we work through its screens. No hourly billing and no retainer. If the first automation misses the scope we agreed, you don’t pay for it.
- How fast can we start?
- Usually within a week of the first call. Intake is often live in days; documents and billing take two to four weeks.
Tell us which systems your firm uses and what you want to automate.
A 30-minute call with Jeff. You’ll leave knowing whether it’s worth automating and how we’d connect to your case management system. Each automation is quoted as one fixed price, and if the first misses the scope we agree, you don’t pay for it.
